It was the beginning of the end of what we knew of the land of the free and the brave. The next court session allowed states to choose electors despite whoever won. The demise of the EPA also caused the demise of Education, Social security, Medicare, among other agencies. States were basically allowed to choose their path. Some Northeastern states and California were among the few that still adhered to the old Democratic principles.

Congress passed five-year penalties for any infraction of the law. The jails and prisons filled almost overnight to huge capacities. They decided to “lend” these inmates who were slaves of the state to businesses and private individuals.

Senators were again appointed by their state senates. Unlimited terms for president. Anyone serving or having served time for a crime could no longer vote. Age limit for voting is now 35.
